Interesting that someone on this site is familiar with the "antis" of the church of Christ.  The church I grew up in was one of those though I did not realize it until I was older.  It was my running into such a group when I lived in Wisconsin that led me to start a serious study of the Catholic Church.

One other thing that I found disconcerting when I was still a member of the coc.  One Mother's Day Sunday the preacher preached on "great mothers of the Bible."  Guess who he left out?  Yup.  The Mother of God.
