European bishops meet, ponder climate change

It is illegal in California to disturb the eggs of a particular endangered bird (I forget which bird, but I imagine this rule applies to many species). The unborn fowl are better protected than unborn humans.

I see your point and I share your concern. There is the same law in France. And I just can't believe European bishops make environment one of their main subjects, when there are other priorities they simply do not mention. That being said, there is a problem with the environment, it's one you can't ignore in some countries, even if there is also a problem with environmentalists.
