We're home!!   It turns out that he has something called mesenteric lymphadenitis, which is caused by a virus and just has to clear up on its own.  Apparently it's the leading cause of unnecessary appendectomies.
Thanks be to God!

Good! Smile

Although, I still think it was your cooking...

Erin, I'm so relieved to hear that your hubby is going to be okay.

But in my book, there are no unnecessary appendectomies.  My 13 year old son had a ruptured appendix this summer and spent six weeks in the hospital.  If I could get my other children's appendixes removed prophalactically, I would!

I hope that Mr. Nice feels better very soon.

You know, early Friday morning when he was puking constantly, he did say that he thought it might have been what I cooked the day before...

Well the surgeon we saw did say that when it's a child, they just take the appendix out at any sign of a problem because it's much more serious for them, and an adult has more time to be observed.
Friday night, there were five people in the ER, including Mr. Is Nice, for possible appendicitis, and only one, a twelve year old, had hers out immediately.

My house was a barfatorium Wednesday night. One kid after the other 'til 3 AM.

I am glad Mr. Is Nice is on the mend. Smile

I'm glad there was no unneeded surgery, and that his apendix (table of contents, preface, whatever) is fine.

Oh, glad he's okay... sorry, I just saw this one! This is, I think, why I just say "for all the FE people" when I say my prayers, in case I forgot or missed one...
