Israel was justified in responding militarily against Hamas, but you made it seem as though the damage Israel has done to Gaza was equal to the damage Hamas wrought on Israel, which is not the case.
No, I don't mean that. I believe the Romans had the right idea. To be relatively nice unless they are attacked. A subjugated land under the Romans was treated pretty well. They were given roads, allowed to keep their customs and religions (and even intergrated into the Empire) and were even allowed to be in the Roman Army. However, a rebellion or attack would result in a devastating attack (think Jerusalem, completely levelled). I think if a country is going to use military might, they should be committed and aggressive. There is no other way to win, whether one is in the right or wrong. |

No, you're not even remotely rational. You get hysterical at the sight of a tank (which may not even be moving.) You talk about the Palestinians being "eradicated" - but they aren't, not even close. If the Israelis really were trying to "eradicate" them, they could do it a lot more efficiently than they have. But the Palestinians aren't even close to being "eradicated". For starters, they have a very high birth rate.
obviously it wasn't your children slaughtered in a public market, but hell its ok to kill thier kids, they can have more...NYCE! |

Well if their is a tank from your sworn enemy parked right outside your house, we'll see if you seem somewhat "hysterical". But I really don't see where I was being "hysterical" in my view of the situation. Just presented the facts as they were.Israeli tanks wrecking havoc among a civilian population resulting in the deaths of some kids. I know, Hamas fired rockets first, so the genocide of thousands will be justified, blah,blah,blah.And make no mistake, they are being eradicated, just in a slow and acceptable way for the rest of the world not to notice. Clearing out the Palestinians out of the promised land is the goal, if the Israeli's could implement the final solution they would. Most cultures have a high birth rate that don't employ the use of contraception, birth control or abortion. Or homosexuality for that matter. No gay pride parades in Gaza, unlike Tel Aviv. |

Really step outside this nightmare and look at Israels options? What would have them do?
I think WW3 will kick off and they'll eradicate the Palistinians while the world is otherwise distracted. Several nations will be annihilated. I reckon one of those nations will be Palestine. Israel will nuke at least a couple of other nations too. A lot of crazy stuff happens in wartime and soon gets forgotten. Stalin killed millions in the war and they hardly ever get a mention. |
