Ever since I learned at a young age that my mother named me after Paul's first european convert, Lydia, I have wanted to know more about her. It seems that info is stretched out, and few and far between. She doesn't even have her own website or book devoted to her. I started a blog awhile back to chronicle what I have found out thus far.

However, I'm hoping that you all may be able to find something that I have not yet. Perhaps you know about the church dedicated to her in Philippi, or if there are any relics out there in the world, the like. Surely there is more than just a few mentions in the bible for this woman who helped the church thrive in Eastern Europe. Thanks!

I do know that her Feast Day is August 3. Here is an Icon of her, with information already known:

I haven't found anything as far as relics. I don't recall any visionaries like Mary of Agreda or Anne Catherine Emmerich mentioning her, but I'll go back and look to see if I missed something.

Thanks! That is the only icon of her I have found thus far. I know that there is a Greek Orthodox Church in Philippi, Greece that is dedicated to her, but I can't find any info about it online.

Can anyone find out more about it perhaps?
