Voted. That is pretty dumb.
Let's vote on whether the entire Dutch Bishops Conference should be excommunicated.
You can't excommunicate people who aren't Catholic. Good one. Also, non-Catholics can't excommunicate Catholics from the Catholic Church.

It's now 127 yes - 99 no (56% to 44%).
DrBombay hit the nail on the head, what a waste of time. Anyway, does anyone else get the impression that the front page doesn't scream "Catholic!"? Not untill I scrolled down to see the video images of nuns and the Rosary beads (and St. Sebastian) did the page seem particularly Christian (as opposed to any other random news site).

"It preaches that not only in civil affairs, which is not Our concern here, but also in religion, God has given every individual a wide freedom to embrace and adopt without danger to his salvation whatever sect or opinion appeals to him on the basis of his private judgment. The apostle Paul warns us against the impiety of these madmen" (Pope Leo XII, Ubi Primum, n. 12).
"Likewise, peace is rooted in respect for religious freedom, which is a fundamental and primordial aspect of the freedom of conscience of individuals and of the freedom of peoples. It is important that everywhere in the world every person can belong to the religion of his choice and practise it freely without fear" (Pope Benedict XVI, Address to Five New Ambassadors, 18 May 2006).

Nice that the Dutch bishops don't have anything better to do than post web polls. They really don't. There's about seven Catholics left in the Netherlands.

I promise not to put anything here which might help us question our mind-forged manacles, inspire us, or help us in any way at all.
N.B.: I will not be posting on this site again until the Christmas octave. Have a good Advent.

Ridiculous indeed. I wonder what other personal opinions they think people should be excommunicated for.

Wow. Nice that the Dutch bishops don't have anything better to do than post web polls. Unbelievable. Well you certainly wouldn't expect them to be worrying about the Holy Sacrifice would ya, sheesh. Its currently 52 yes 48% no. Surprising its that close come from such as apostate crap hole as the Nederlands.

Bishop Williamson is in all headlines in the entire Netherlands, described as "antisemitic bishop" consecrated by the "ultraconservative" and "right-wing" Archbishop Lefebvre. Nobody mentions that Archbishop Lefebvre's own dad died in a Nazi camp Sonnenburg.
It is stirring up quite some sentiments. At the same website this poll is at, a female Liberal Jewish rabbi is saying she could not sleep overnight because of Williamson. Such exaggeration. As if Armenians would lie awake about Turkish imams denying the Armenian Genocide.

Continued prayers for Bishop Williamson and the Holy Father. Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio, contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium. Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur: tuque, Princeps militiae coelestis, Satanam aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo, divina virtute, in infernum detrude. Amen.
