I'm looking at registering with the local FSSP parish and will probably be looking to get a missal sometime soon (one in Latin and English both, since my Latin is nearly non-existent) and was hoping to get some recommendations on the best and cheapest place to get such a thing.  Also, I've seen some different versions and want to make sure mine would match up as perfectly as possible with the Mass as celebrated by FSSP priests so I'm not trying to follow along with something completely random.

Thanks!

The eBays.

I find the Angelus Press missal matches with what the FSSP parishes I've been to do, in addition to the ICKSP parish I've been to.

I'd recommend getting a missal, as it's smaller and cheaper than a missale.  ;-)  (The MR goes on the altar.  The missal goes in your hand! :-D)

That looks legit, although is not the Angelus Press one.  I would have recommended the AP one from the Cantius store, but it seems their price went up.  :(

I will say, however, that I have found the investment in the Angelus Press missal to be worth it (after having it for only a year).  Although I did get mine used off of eBay.  But still, I find it is wonderful, has a lot of good prayers, and covers the sacraments.

I second the missal from Angelus Press.  It's a Daily Missal which covers the entire year's propers and has a ton of daily, weekly & monthly prayers, devotions, all the Sacraments, Morning Prayer & Evening Prayer, etc.  It's probably the most complete missal I could find. I use it extensively at home as well as at Mass. It's a bit pricey at $63.00 but well worth it.

I thought MR was just the Latin for the missal.  Oops, I feel special.  :D

Then again I asked him, "supposing the Pope looked up and saw a cloud and said 'It's going to rain', would that be bound to happen?"
"Oh, yes, Father."
"But supposing it didn't?"
He thought a moment and said, "I suppose it would be sort of raining spiritually, only we were too sinful to see it."
