is it just me or does it seem odd that both he and Mother Angelica had strokes?

Jesuit assassinations. They were Novus Ordo hit-men though, so it was bungled on both occasions.

LOL

Not strange at all: Many elderly people suffer from strokes.

I know that - my own mother had one a few months back.

It just seems odd that the 2 most traditional minded backers of EWTN both have strokes.

His was just about the last show I could watch on that channel besides the Mass. Everything else has gotten so modernist.

Plus they are Jesuits its hard to assasinate someone while wearing high heels.

Praying for Father.

I'll take this opportunity to plug the book discussed in the article. Left to Tell is an amazing book. Read it.

I heard Immaculée Ilibagiza speak at a Marian Eucharistic Conference in my town last fall.  She has an amazing story.  I would second the idea of reading the book.  I also heard Father Groeschel speak and celebrate mass at the same conference -I'll be keeping him in my prayers.  (Trying not to totally derail the thread.)
