According to the article, it is the beginning of 2016, but close enough.

It makes sense. It can't stay up there forever, and if they can't sustain it, it will deorbit.

Also, I'm sure they'll take all the stuff they want to keep home. It is pricey, but in reality, it is less than the money Obama is wasting (not normal government waste, but Obama's special throw-money-away policies).

I liked the guy at the end.

Does it have a mission?  Right now, isn't it just kind of... floatin' up there.

If it had a guiding mission, yeah, sure, keep it up there, and keep it floating.

But if it's just going to be hodge-podge missions, then bring her on down.

Sunk costs, and all.

From things I have read.. It fell off the schedule as far as completion goes by 12 years and the contractual agreements expire in 2016.After which time contract ( money ) ends.
Russia has been thinking of snatching their section and flying it away with a rescue type vehicle and keeping it in orbit. ( their section of course)

ISS ;Therefore, by 2015 the ISS RS will include 8 modules: FGB Zarya, SM Zvezda, MLM, MRM-1-CDM, MRM-2-DC2, NM, SPM-1 and SPM-2

One dude said to give it to China.

I don't think that's a good idea.
