I am just curious, am I the only one on this forum who ever plays "pen and paper" role playing games?

If no one knows what I mean, I'll take that as a yes.

Bloggers were invented ca. 300 AD. and were originally called "monks." Like their distant social descendants, monks had horrible haircuts, rarely left their home, spoke a language to eachother no one else understood, and never went on dates.

I used to play D&D a lot as a youth.  I have some of the old Runequest and GURPS sets, but no one seems to play them anymore.  Also, a few Steve Jackson games like Ogre, etc.

I was thinking of getting some Car Wars stuff to play with my kids - they're reprinting some of them.

It's the Middle Ages in Space..... Or as the writers put it, "A Futuristic Passion Play." When I ran it all the players were, or were going to be, traditional Catholic or Eastern Orthodox, with two Protestants. http://morningstarfs.blogspot.com

But I'm glad to find out I'm not the only one. I was afraid many fishies had gone the way of the Southern Baptists when it comes to this subject.
