Do I sing this? What tune? Is there some general all-purpose way I could chant this? How to? Thanks KayCee

Yes, the Office is meant to be sung whenever possible/practical. If you don't know how to chant at all, just make some tune up.

Do you know how to chant the Divine Office (save Compline, which has a more intricate tune)?

When you look at the text are there asterisks and cross/dagger looking symbols?

In England for long time chanted / recited the Office of Immaculate conception as votive, daily, weekdays.
This meant that on Monday and Thursday the first Nocturn, on Tuesday and Friday the second, on Wednesday and Saturday the
third nocturn, plus the Lauds, and Vespers (exactly it starts with the first Vespers). You may found notes for the
Gregorian chant in the Antiphonale

http://www.sanctamissa.org/en/music/gregorian-chant/choir/antiphonale.html

or in the Usualis

I'd recommend recitation over random tunes.

Chant is not exactly rocket science. Once one has a tune down, singing the Office is pretty easy to do.

Thank you guys for your replies. I thought I'd feel like an a** but chanting is cool. It's way better in Latin, too.--Thanks, KC
