"O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because of thy just punishment, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen." That's the one I use. Also, I have never had any "NO priest", no matter how liberal, not ask for an act of contrition.

I use the one already listed ("O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee" etc), or, rarely, an equivalent in Maltese.
However, we were taught a different one at Catechism which was "O my God I love You, I am sorry for all my sins, for not loving others and not loving You. Help me to live like Jesus, and never sin again. Amen." I still think it's rather sweet.

“I am a Catholic not like someone else would be a Baptist or a Methodist, but like someone else would be an atheist.” - Flannery O'Connor
Then again I asked him, "supposing the Pope looked up and saw a cloud and said 'It's going to rain', would that be bound to happen?" "Oh, yes, Father." "But supposing it didn't?" He thought a moment and said, "I suppose it would be sort of raining spiritually, only we were too sinful to see it." Evelyn Waugh, Brideshead Revisited

For NO masses not in Latin, do they use Maltese, Italian, English or other?

For NO masses not in Latin, do they use Maltese, Italian, English or other? All of the above, including French, German, Spanish and you can probably find some in Portuguese. There is also a small community of Chinese Catholics on the island, but I don't know whether they've got their own priest or not. The common vernacular is Maltese, with the most sizable minority of masses in English.

When I go I just use a very short one since my memory is bad at times - " Lord Jesus have Mercy on me a Sinner"
Never had anything said about it but I only go to NO priests

I use:
"O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life Amen."
Although I have heard different versions. The one my mom was taught while she was in school was something like "I am sorry for having offended Thee, because I dread Thy just punishments"
The latter one was common in the early 1960s when I was in school; yours is older. As to the first one, it's kind of strange to be resolving to confess your sins when you have just done so. I concur. Although I never gave it much thought; I just use the one we were forced to memorize. It came on a ditto. Remember dittos? Man, I'm old....

Of course, when I have gone to the local NO parish for confession, neither of the priests have ever asked for an act of contrition.
In almost 30 years of confessing to NO priests I have NEVER had one not ask me to make an Act of Contrition!

When I returned I could only remember this one when I confessed after many, many, many years, and I have used it ever since;
O my God I am heartily sorry for all my sins, because thou art all Good and deserving of all my love, and I firmly resolve with the help of Thy Grace to sin no more and avoid the near occasions of sins, Amen.
As I recall now, and I don't have the St. Joseph Missal of my youth (1953, I think), it is the perfect Act of Contrition. I have also read where a certain Priest advises Catholics to say it often during the day, for the Grace not to mortally sin. I have found it very helpful. tim
