It's been interesting, but...

I'm fed up with some of the attitudes of people on this site so I sadly choose to leave, as this correspondence is not helping my Catholic Faith.   I'll spend my extra time praying or saying the Rosary instead, but not trolling this site to see what the next crabby traditionalist comment was that was said.  I wish you all good tidings and offer prayers for you.  I ask you to do the same, and I'll see you upstairs (God willing).

I get fed up, too, including with myself when I post in a way I'm not proud of.   Embarrassed

I can understand how things can get to you.   If you ever change your mind, we'd be glad to have you back.

Best wishes. Smile

I'm glad that you're taking the necessary steps to secure the well-being of your soul. If FE is more of a detriment than a source of spiritual edification, it is prudent for you to say goodbye.

However, I do understand why you have left. As with any forum, you must pick and choose your battles. You might consider frequenting the Oratory / Prayer Request forum rather than some of the more controversial areas; it is a wonderful place to practice selflessness and charity!

May God bless you and keep you forever close to His most Sacred Heart.

"The practice of the Church has always been the same, as is shown by the unanimous teaching of the Fathers, who were wont to hold as outside Catholic communion, and alien to the Church, whoever would recede in the least degree from any point of doctrine proposed by her authoritative magisterium" (Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum, no.  9, June 29, 1896).
