Yeah, but motion activated cameras are relatively new to the search for Bigfoot and let's face it, there isn't a ton of money out there being spent on looking for them.

Just a few years ago a huge population of gorillas just showed up in the Congo.  Of course, they had been there all along, but scientists never discovered them.  New ape and primate species are still being discovered today.

All I'm saying is that there are still some very remote parts of this world and this country and that if gorillas can go undeteced I see no reason why another type of ape couldn't.

Yes, I understand. I was mostly poking fun at the "MonsterQuest" show types, which can't find anything and it is obvious from the beginning, but they milk it for everything they can.

Even in cities, animals live which most would not think possible. Mostly ex-zoo animals, illegal "pets", and other animals which end up making their home in cities. They are there, but like in the wild, they avoid contact, so we never see them. The areas of Canada and Alaska I think could have almost any creature in them and even if we knew of them it wouldn't be surprising if they were very hard to find.

Oh yeah, the television shows are pointless.  Just sensationalism for money, but it's television.  Same crap, new decade.

I want to tag along with some cryptozoologists and sneakily bowhunt mythical beasts while they're not looking. they'd be like my guides, and help me to find where to start hunting, then bam! i'd knock over bigfoot with my compound bow, and drag him off to the taxidermist.
then i'll be like "check out my trophy" to all the bigfoot fans out there.
it's a double-plus, cos it still would prove bigfoot exists, plus i get to be the first one to knock one over. and with a bow, at that!
Hey, AntoniusMaximus, can i tag along?!

Interesting. It won't be so sneaky if you declare your intentions in front of them ;)

I'm for shooting a Bigfoot.  It's not like, in the end, it's not just an animal.  And it's also not as if shooting one to proove their existence wouldn't put up all sorts of really harsh laws against touching a hair on their elusive bodies.

But I'm mostly for shooting one because that's probablly the only way this would ever be conclusively proved.

Sweet, Walty, so you're in? Okay, but when we cook it up you've gotta have the first bite, and tell me if its good.

it might be the nicest tasting meat in the world, somebodys gotta find out. then again it could be poisonous. Walty sure is brave offering to risk his life in the interest of the culinary arts like that!

I'd start it off with a tomato and avocado salad, then serve it with some asparagus spears with a freshly-made garlic, mayonnaise-like sauce.

I think a good dry red would go well with it, too.
