The way to a man's heart is through his stomach.  Very true.

Your choice: trad woman / bad cook  or Novus Ordo woman / great cook.

I admit I'd have to choose the great cook.  Luckily I have a trad (convert though) / great cook.  Man can she cook.  Now I'm hungry.

If you marry an NO girl, then how would it be when the children come along? Do you want them to grow up with the TLM and traditional sacraments? If you pick an NO wife who's lovely and a good cook but wants the NO, then getting the kids (perhaps many kids) to Mass and Sunday school will probably be all your responsibility. And children (being children), will tell you things like "I want to go to Mass with Mom this week.", just to stir it up a bit.

She would turn very ugly very fast.  A militant wife who insists on something not Trad related is a scary prospect.   The great social value of marrying a non-Catholic comes in the likelihood of their conversion.

If she married me, and I decided the family would attend the TLM, then the family would attend the TLM.

But I agree, starting out with a Trad wife (who is a good cook) makes it a lot easier.

By the way, this is the MEN'S section, shoo back over to your side of the sand box.

Hmmm, another thing, if Trad men marry N.O. women, and Trad women married N.O. men, that might be a good way to swell the ranks.  Something to think about.

Yeah, and you would know about it before getting married, so you would kick her to the curb and not propose.

PeterII, you married?  If not, go get married.  You'd probably make a good husband.

you can teach a woman to cook....or just cook your own damn food! i think marrying a non trad is risky business, especially when kids come along, honestly, in the long run, ive never seen it workout well for the kids.

I'm working on a couple of prospects, but applications from rich Traditional Catholic supermodels are always welcome.

Or how about this: only marry at all if she's as crazy as you are.
