I wonder why they think God cares about the use of electricity? I wonder why we care about the Jewish people's Sabbath laws ? I was thinking the same thing who cares what jews do. Who needs to care to mention it? No one protests when someone posts a weird thing in another context. All I was saying is that some people get all bent out of shape over jewish religious practices when it really doesnt matter they live a false religion in a no longer binding covenant the're idiots. Who cares. Let dance around and drink sheeps blood and be afraid of electricity or whatever it is they do.

I'll make them a deal-- I'll carry them upstairs and downstairs all day Saturday, as long as they pay well. Bwaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahaha fishie for implying Jews might pay well. But seriously, it makes all of us look like a bunch of paranoid Judaphobes.

Seems even elevators are antisemitic these days......along with windmills and light sensors. Having said that, I've seen more than my share of fat Christians who should avoid those evil elevators as well as use the stairs more often.

The stairs should be used when possible.

And it's not even original with Cobain. I heard and used that phrase years before he was born!

I wonder why they think God cares about the use of electricity? I wonder why we care about the Jewish people's Sabbath laws ? I wonder why we read and post in this forum? Because I wonder why we pick apart everything the Jewish people do, even when it has nothing to do with us. If we post threads about Jewish reaction to the Good Friday prayer, or the treatment of Palestinian Christians in the Holy Land, or why the Israel union drops the art exhibit portraying the Virgin Mary as a terrorist..... I care because it affects Catholicism. But when we post threads about "weird" Sabbath laws, or ask why at least 139 of the Forbes 400 are Jewish, or why Orthodox Jews went on an ax-wielding rampage, or why Rabbi so-and-so wants to have 12 kids, or why a Harlem High School Jewish girl wanted her graduation ceremony moved from Saturday, or why a Chanukah version of the Dicken's Christmas Carol might make the protagonist become more greedy instead of more generous........ I care because it makes all of us look like a bunch of paranoid Judaphobes. - Lisa The fact that your grandfather was Jewish compromises you to some extent it seems. I have tons of Freemason and Oddfellow ancestors on my father's side that are likely burning in hell right now. It doesn't keep me from criticizing masons. I'm also part Native American. It doesn't keep me from being glad that they were conquered. Judaphobe? I guess "anti-Semitism" is no longer effective at scaring people. Is "Judaphobia" going to become the new great sin of the 21st century to replace "anti-Semitism," now that that term has been shown to be a joke? I was wondering why you went off on me on the Exorcist thread, but now I realize. You were unleashing this pent up anger at me for posting Jewish stuff and using my views on Dreyer's film as an excuse to tell me I'm full of crap.

Is "Judaphobia" going to become the new great sin of the 21st century to replace "anti-Semitism," now that that term has been shown to be a joke? I used the word Judaphobe because "Anti-Semite" doesn't fit and you know it. I was wondering why you went off on me on the Exorcist thread, but now I realize. You were unleashing this pent up anger at me for posting Jewish stuff and using my views on Dreyer's film as an excuse to tell me I'm full of crap. Not at all. I have no pent up anger toward you. If you remember, the very first contribution you made to that thread, the review by Pauline Kael, I said was "fascinating" and I copied it over to the next page because I said it was worth repeating and reviewing.. (I always hate it when a really good post ends up on the bottom of the page and is too quickly overlooked). I didn't say you were "full of crap" until you slighted Falconetti. I admitted I was over-reacting and I apologized TWICE on that thread for my remark. If I wanted to "unleash my anger" over your "posting Jewish stuff" I would have simply done so on one of your many Jewish threads.. which are full of crap, by the way. No pent up anger. Just stating an opinion. - Lisa
