My great grandfather Tonin ( pronounced Tonying) used to say never cheat your stomach. He was really poor, but my Nona was an excellent cook, so whatever she made was the best she knew how and the best ingredients she could afford. Italians always buy the best kind of what they need to cook. Prosciutto ain't on my menu all the time, it's $20.00 per lb. here, but Christ is risen, and I'm celebrating.

I wish I had a big old house so I could have the fishies over for a Sunday Pranzo.

Yeah, come on, Canadian Catholic - coffee is not good for you, makes ya too jittery. Just drink the Baileys straight and get a caffeine patch
