Fear Not the Cold

« on: December 07, 2009, 11:25:PM »

Recently my seasonal job is ending, I have been working on an application into the Navy OCS program, I have had bills to pay, and have been trying how to brave the storm to make it to mass tomorrow.

On the way to work I accidently rear-ended someone. My car is totalled, I have been fined a whole paycheck, and I am far from financially secure.

Anyone can ask questions. But it's obvious that I need the prayers and it would be arrogant of me to say otherwise. Also, please pray that I find a way to mass tomorrow (Dec 8th) and for the conversion of my family.....

Bloggers were invented ca. 300 AD. and were originally called "monks." Like their distant social descendants, monks had horrible haircuts, rarely left their home, spoke a language to eachother no one else understood, and never went on dates.

Strive, not for what is acceptable, but for what is greatest.

I don't pretend to know everything, but I don't pretend to not know what I know I know, so I know what I know and I like people who agree with what I know I know, and I'm indifferent to differences of opinion on what I know I don't know.

O God, forasmuch as without Thee
We are not enabled to doubt Thee,
Help us all by Thy Grace
To convince the whole race
It knows nothing whatever about Thee.
