I'm making a list of errata in Dr. Hahn's Bible dictionary.  He calls Maronites "Marianites."  ...excuse me?  St. Maron did not have boobs and he was not the God-bearer.  He was a hairy abbot who dwelt in the desert.  I absolutely hate it when Latin (no offense guys) Catholics betray complete ignorance of Eastern Churches.

Also, "Are you guys like the Franciscans or Dominicans?"  No....we are a Church, not a religious order.

...but, truth be told, I am being largely sardonic here.  I actually rather admire Dr. Scott Hahn, and I understand what happens when graduate students help write a book.  And in the final analysis, getting the name of my Church wrong is no big deal.  It just makes for an amusing blooper and reminds us we're all human.

At first, littlerose, I thought your hostility toward Dr. Hahn was playful, but now that I see it's real, I have to blow the whistle on the charity foul here.

Addendum:  There are no hard feelings against anyone as a result of this incidence.  I do not think less of you, littlerose.  Not in the least.  I wanted to make that known to prevent hurt emotions.

Now, back to the regularly scheduled funfest.  There will be no further mention of the above misunderstanding from here on out.

Thank you. I acknowledge and confess the sin of a lack of charity, and probably should consider Hahn discussions to be an occasion of sin for me, that I should avoid, until I get past that sin.

As far as the travel limitations you face, is there a possibility of setting up a partnership with helpers?  It would take some logistical planning, but  a church near Harvard should be able to find a small crew of volunteers to share the burden of your class schedule. That is the kind of thing retirees love to volunteer for.  You might even be able to get the school's financial aid office to consider helping you as a work-study job for another student.
