as we paged through the health book pointing and laughing. And then... a series of pictures, real pictures, of a woman giving birth. Action shots... right in the action.
I died a little that day.
Me too.. I was 8 months pregnant with my first baby at the time. Why, oh why did I look? :o

If my husband didnt come into the delivery room with me, Id kick his ass. If mine didn't stay out of the delivery room, I'd kiss his ass. Sounds like he frequents delivery rooms.

So did we find out why Rozi has the shivers? I think I will now call him 'mop boy'. Mop Boy, more than 3 shakes and you're playing with it....then again if you're shivering....

If my husband didnt come into the delivery room with me, Id kick his ass. If I have to go through the pain of birthing our baby, hes gonna be a part of that too! But really, he thinks it pretty interesting. When its your own baby, its just beautiful. I was in the room with my sister when she had her baby, it was the coolest thing, being on the other end of it!
See, I'd kick my (theoretical) husband out. Honestly, by the time your in labour, you ve had ever nurse, doctor and assistant taking a look....you kinda loose all dignity. Is not a dignity issue. It's a he'll either be sick, or hover and want to touch issue. So out he goes.

He plans to hover up by my sisters head and not Look down! LOL On the Other hand, My brother actually had to "help" deliver his second, basically, as it was really rough on my sis in law (I wont go into details) Its REALLY cool And when your in that much pain, all you want is your husband and your mommy! I havent ever had a baby with out my mom. This will be my first, without my mommy, my best friend really wants to come in this time, so it will be her and my dh! Gonna be fun :D

What if you are married to the doctor doing the delivery?

What if you are married to the doctor doing the delivery? Or an astronaut, but he's the only person around to help because you're delivering in space?

Strive, not for what is acceptable, but for what is greatest.
I don't pretend to know everything, but I don't pretend to not know what I know I know, so I know what I know and I like people who agree with what I know I know, and I'm indifferent to differences of opinion on what I know I don't know.
