I think I'd rather take bluegrass

Grateful Dead of Bob Dylan?

Neither, yuck.  Cheap fiction designed for quick mass publishing and max $$$.  This is the case for most modern fiction I've read; no substance.  I can fly through the new stuff, get some nice ideas, but read Heart of Darkness over and over and still find profound insights and wisdom.  If forced to choose, I'd take Harry Pothead; its less romantic and emotional.

CCR or Janis Joplin? (don't ask me why I'm comparing these two! LOL)
