It has come to my attention (thanks, Clare!) that people who use IE8 have a problem with the edit box (the thing you type into) jumping around when quoting longer posts.

It seems to be an IE8 issue because I didn't have this problem in IE7, nor in Firefox.

So, I will see if SMF (the software we use for the forum) has a fix.  In the meantime, try another browser if possible (I like Firefox personally).

And if this is happening to anyone in anything except IE8, please let me know by replying.  Thanks!

Thank you so much for your post.

Yeah, but it probably won't work if your screen is jumping.

Like Doc Bombaby says, "just sayin' "

Chinese languages have both "r" and "l" sounds.

You are thinking of Japanese, which does not distinguish the phonemes.

I'm glad you could interpret it.

I kept reading his post over and over looking every bit as much perplexed as this:  Huh?

I get it now. I must really be that slow.  Dunce

I only already knew that because I'm a Zeruda no Densetsu fan, er, a Legend of Zelda fan.  ;)

P.S. - I just recently switched to IE8, and I have the screen-jumping problem. Not only do I have it here, but I've witnessed it while at a few other forums as well.

"Likewise, peace is rooted in respect for religious freedom, which is a fundamental and primordial aspect of the freedom of conscience of individuals and of the freedom of peoples.  It is important that everywhere in the world every person can belong to the religion of his choice and practise it freely without fear" (Pope Benedict XVI, Address to Five New Ambassadors, 18 May 2006).
