This ex-Nuncio despises [1] the direction the Papacy is going under Benedict's leadership, particularly in regard to his recent naming of the conservative Archbishop Leonard as the new Primate of Belgium [2]. Considering the Archbishop's steady hand in the face of secularist criticism and a lawsuit by homosexuals, it does give some indication of the reason for the Nuncio's hostility to the appointment.

Live your life in such a way that every morning when your feet hit the floor...Satan shudders and says..."Oh No...he's AWAKE!"

Sometimes the Internet reminds me of being in a chicken coop with an infinite number of Chicken Littles at any given millisecond dodging pieces of their falling skies.

There is a subtle difference between "invincible ignorance" and intolerably stupid.

As the rad-trads feel free to attack the Magisterium, so do the liberals.  The humility and obedience toward the leaders of the Church would be virtue.
