Bellbottoms are back and parachute pants are not...I think that gives a hint of the worst fashion decade.

OP-- I agree with the others, wear pants-- jeans preferably-- for bike riding, for safety reasons.

I wear a long jean skirt for motorcycle riding.  The kind that have a little spandex in with the cotton to make it a little stretchy so you can spread em' without showing everything.  I've got one that's just a little shorter for bycycle riding.  Seem to fine.  Shorts underneath are a good idea for that though.  Just a thought. Smile
