Apologize.
Not on your life. I'm sorry to hear that. I thought you'd have come to realize how much you've offended Our Lord's dignity by calling Him such vulgar names. It's not me you've offended, Credo, but Christ. Nevertheless, I reported your insult. It's inadmissible to hear people disparaging Christ's dignity in a Catholic Forum.

"THE LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 26:1)
"And we, too, being called by His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified by ourselves, nor by our own wisdom, or understanding, or godliness, or works which we have wrought in holiness of heart; but by that faith through which, from the beginning, Almighty God has justified all men; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." — Clement, bishop of Rome
"I love truth," says he, "and not sects. I am sometimes a peripatetic, a stoic, or an academician, and often none of them; but—always a Christian. To philosophise is to love wisdom; and the true wisdom is Jesus Christ. Let us read the historians, the poets, and the philosophers; but let us have in our hearts the gospel of Jesus Christ, in which alone is perfect wisdom and perfect happiness." — Petrarch

I've not heard back from Christ on this point so don't you worry. Nevertheless, I reported your insult.
I have already explained my rational for my comment. Christ was a wandering vagabond. That's a point of history. Would you like to dispute this? There was no insult in my remark, just stick-up-butt-itis on your part. It's inadmissible to hear people disparaging Christ's dignity in a Catholic Forum.
It sure is. Good thing my remarks weren't disparaging.

It sure is. Good thing my remarks weren't disparaging. Let's remember that there is a distinction between "hobo" and "poor". Most of us have spent the night at a friend's house, but we're not considered homeless because of that. Likewise, tthe Gospels record Zacarias and others inviting Our Lord to their house, but there's nothing to suggest He wasn't welcome, which "invited himself" implies. This may not be your intention, but describing Christ as a hobo also carries the sense that He's standing around with nothing better to do.

There is no shame in being homeless, I may be wrong but it seems my impression from reading the Gospels that Jesus Christ either stayed at some else's house or was homeless(almost certainly on purpose) after he started his public ministry. I think he was making a connection between himself and the desert preachers of the Old Testament to a certain extent(in no way does that take away from his divinity). DK when you have a fundamental need for survival and have very little or no means to pay it is morally permissible to take from others.

Calling the Lord a hobo was obviously meant to be taken metaphorically some of you would strain out a gnat and swallow a camel.

The Cross Was His Own Author Unknown
They borrowed a bed to lay His head When Christ the Lord came down; They borrowed the ass in the mountain pass For Him to ride to town; But the crown He wore And the cross He bore Were His own. The Cross was His own.
He borrowed the bread when the crowd He fed On the grassy mountain side; He borrowed the dish of broken fish With which He satisfied; But the crown He wore And the cross He bore Were His own. The Cross was His own.
He borrowed the ship in which to sit To teach the multitude; He borrowed the nest in which to rest, He had never a home so rude; But the crown He wore And the cross He bore Were His own. The Cross was His own.
He borrowed a room on the way to the tomb The Passover lamb to eat; They borrowed the cave; for Him a grave; They borrowed the winding sheet. But the crown He wore And the cross He bore Were His own. The Cross was His own.
The thorns on His head were worn in my stead, For me the Saviour died. For guilt of my sin the nails drove in When Him they crucified; But the crown He wore And the cross He bore Were His own– My Cross He owned.

So do you think your clever saying that or something. And damn right I have said it.
You have said it. (And when you're done saying it, you may wish to read your Bible. Mine is the customary reply of a Christian when lied about. A certain hobo from Nazareth coined it some years back.) Jesus replied "You have said it" when Pilate asked Him if he were the King of the Jews, not as a response to being lied about. I was taught that it came from an Aramaic expression that signified agreement, not denial. (See Matt 27:11) Thats what I was taught to I have thought it funny all along that Credo has confirmed what I just said and he doesnt even know it. He loves to use that one a lot on me. "you have said it"

No insult here. Jesus Christ spent three years of his life without a penny in his pocket. He crashed at people's houses for the night and invited himself over for dinner. I could imagine your feigned outrage had I used the word bum, which has a more negative connotation for Americans, but hobo works quite nicely. Jesus would be riding the rail were he around these days.
No he would be wandering around in sandals and preaching and healing since that area of the world is still primitive for the most part.

He'll call Christ a Hobo for being a poor wandering preacher/healer but he wont call Muhammad a Child molester. Its seems he only makes insults to one Religious leader but another gets off for free I wonder why...
