Hitler gives them a case of the visceral creeps, and hatred, and consternation of various other sorts.
When people hear about the devil they either roll their eyes, laugh out loud, giggle, snicker, smile knowingly to one another that he's just a myth, or get entertained by horror sequences thrown at them by Holywood (typo intended), or they treat the devil as a mere curiosity.
But Hitler and those Nazis, man, they were pure evil. Good thing we can read about how evil they were in history books and that they're not around anymore, cuz man, that was just as evil as it gets...
