i see pictures of you dressed in this vcitorian style and i like it but you only do it for special occasions, right?

i wonder if you ever out on pair of jeans and tshirt . .

Every day is a God-given special occasion!

Keep wondering.

You could have a steam punk themed wedding.... .  Just sayin.

I'd still prefer my wedding to be medieval, but I expect a few time-traveling steampunks will crash the party.

Praying for the dead is important. PM me if you need a cantor for the Requiem Mass of a deceased friend or family member. Have cassock and surplice, will travel. (Will also do weddings for a reasonable price.)

Steampunk  is kind of a cross between Victoriana and Scifi ala HG wells.... .

Steampunk can mean several things:

Steampunk as a type of speculative fiction: means a book, movie, or game that imagines a "Victorian sci-fi" world. Ever seen Wild Wild West? That's my favorite. Other than that, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is another well-known example.

Steampunk as a style: decorating your house or wearing clothes that resembles a gritty, Victorian tinkerers' or inventors' style.

I don't necessarily consider myself a "steampunk" because I'm not good at looking gritty, and I don't like wearing brass or the color brown. I do think of myself as a neo-Victorian. A neo-Victorian is someone who combines Victorian aesthetic style with modern sensibilities. That sometimes overlaps with steampunk, but not necessarily.

My ultimate aspiration is to become a true neo-Medievalist, but that's harder to do.

Very cool. I was totally thinking Wild Wild West, actually! Looks like that. Very cool stuff, I have never seen anything like that. WE have alotta rockabillys here, but steampunk looks way cooler!
