Bahahahahaha.

How does Baronius Press stay in business, then?

They sound like a bunch of jokes, trying to get this thing published.

That thought has crossed my mind! After literally years they still haven't priced it? Gimme a break. Sounds like a couple of kids with a lemonade stand.

My wife was kind enough to call Baronius today for an update on their new Divine Office.  The person she spoke to said it might be possible to pre-order in two months and their is no pricing information available.

I guess that about covers it.

I heard a rumour that they're trying to include the full third secret of Fatima as an appendix and are having some troubles getting the text from the Vatican apartments, and this is contributing to the delays.

the issue with pricing is that it's being printed in the UK but sold in US dollars and the exchange rate keeps fluctuating.

If you buy in Euros with Visa, they will convert for you at current rate for a small charge to the cardholder.  I've bought tons of stuff overseas like that.

But unless it's on-demand printing, it shouldn't matter too much.  You just need to pad the price enough to absorb fluctuations for a print run.

Take 5 months, and take 25 minutes each day to learn Latin, and you will soon be able to do very well with an all-Latin breviary.

Faster than Baronius!
