Hi all,

My FSSP parish gift shop had a St Joseph chaplet available, and as I would like to foster a greater devotion to St Joseph, I picked it up.  However, I hope someone here can fill me in on which prayers to use.

The enclosed card says it consists of 15 sets of one white bead and 3 purple beads, for a total of 60 beads, representing the 60 years of his life.  One Hail Mary on each white bead and the prayer "Blessed be Jesus, Mary and Joseph" on the purple beads.  As with a standard rosary, the bead beginning the first set is outside the "loop,"  So far so good.  But there are an additional five beads I'm not sure of:  one purple, one white, and then a set of three purple.  Most sites I have found give exactly what is on the card, i.e. no mention of the extra beads.

This site lists five introductory prayers, but it refers to seven sets of seven beads, which is not what I have,  Also, shorter, easier to memorize prayers would be a help to me.  Thanks!
