Way back when this began, the Doctor then said 280 lbs. would be good for me.That was a half a dozen Doctors ago, and now they are Obamacized, 125 lbs could be what the HMO wants. tim

Sorry, I read Revixit's post and thought the number was real.
Oh well...
It's still nuts.

I knew he was kidding about dancing to the chanting of the NY Times but I wasn't sure about the 125 lbs. Some doctors have really extreme ideas about weight, want everybody to look anorexic.

"Courage, dear brothers! Probably half of us are in our old age. Old age, they say, is the seat of wisdom. The old ones have the wisdom that they have earned from walking through life. Like old Simeon and Anna at the temple whose wisdom allowed them to recognize Jesus. Let us give with wisdom to the youth: like good wine that improves with age, let us give the youth the wisdom of our lives."
"Let us never give in to pessimism, to that bitterness that the devil offers us every day. Do not give in to pessimism and discouragement. We have the firm certainty that the Holy Spirit gives the Church with His mighty breath, the courage to persevere and also to seek new methods of evangelization, to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth."

The bariatric surgeon I went to for consultation before the HMO said no deal, was one of those. He was 6"3" or 4" and couldn't be more than 165 lbs. The two fat nurses he had working for him were nearly adoring this guy. I was glad the HMO made that decision.

Evidently there is something called the DSE 801 that doubles what the 510 will do.
So how much does it cost per day to vape? No tax? Can you vape in the airport?
Later.

"We can not guarantee success. We can only deserve it."
"And who do you say that I Am?" "That one simple question, whether Jesus of Nazareth was God Incarnate, becomes increasingly decisive between people, as history moves forward. .... The answer to this question cuts into human ties and seems to reflect even on the nature of inanimate things. What if: all that is folly in the eyes of the Greeks, and scandal in the eyes of the Jews, ... is Truth?"
And there was no doubt about it -- towards Him we had been running, or from Him we had been running away, but all the time He had been in the center of things.

I went to the saloon today. I sent billows of vapodor into the air. I'm still on the beginning cartridges so I'm not sure about $$, yet. I'm just so happy to be able to smoke. Tomorrow I take inventory and re-order. I'll let you all know. My month on albuterol and steroids has brought me back to just "sick". I was circling the drain. I pray many times a day "Lord, I want to go home". When I have been in the hospital many times the Doctors think I mean my home, but I mean the other home.

I received my e cigs late last night. I charged the battery this morning, and I've puffed. They are a little different but I'm committed to changing to these. I received the battery and charger, the gizmo, and 10 of the filter things which carry the juice. I got them from Direct E-Cig. It cost $4.95 for the starter kit all in !. I would suggest that for about the price of a pack that you give it a whirl. I'm starting to like them. I can hot box a few times, get a teeny weeny bit dizzy, and put it down and go on to what I was doing without smoking the entire cigarette as before.
I can't wait. I want to take these out for a spin in a saloon. They have no smoke or tobacco, so I'll push the envelope and smoke in the bar, hoping someone complains. Then it'll be Chunga's revenge when I explain they are not cigarettes, and have no smoke. I'm hoping they call the cops, and then I get to use my "get out of jail free" card.
No tax, dude ! Can you hear me Obama ? Can you hear me Quinn ? Can you hear me Daley ?
tim
Where can I find the starter kit that you got for $4.95? I don't see it anywhere on the Direct E-Cig website.
