I didn't know where else to put this post, so here goes:

I cannot get into fisheaters chat room.  Every time I try to it freezes my internet connections.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Do you know of a solution?

Is your internet connection slow?  Do you get in, then it freezes, or do you not get in at all?

I'm using mobile internet and I can get in, then it inevitably freezes after a while.  There's no solution for me other than to put up with it.  It sometimes helps to have two simultaneous connections in case one freezes.

What browser are you using? I find that Firefox doesn't work very well for the chat, so I have to use Chrome.

The JVM has issues.

In any case, try upgrading Java and trying from a different browser.  There's not much I can do about it.  We do pay for the chat room service, so I could try and follow up with them, but I'm pretty sure they'll just tell me what I'm telling you.

I got into the chatroom last night and had a delightful discussion with Penelope, Credo ut, College Catholic, and others.

I used Internet explorer instead of Firefox.  At some point, I'll figure out why it works on IE, when IE is generally garbage.
