God is good, all the time. I am blessed to be a member in the body of the Church.

A compelling argument for traditionalism: "trad chapels... where men can wear lace in a righteous manner!" - Bakuryokuso

On the distinct lack of power the devil has: "Satan can kiss my Catholic ass.  He's a pest more than anything else. The BVM will make short work of him with her beloved heel.  Ave Maria!" - QuisUtDeus

Kindly keep me in your rosary and prayer intentions; especially as I am looking for full-time employment . . .

Thanks all, but I never left. I just stopped posting.

After some time, I decided I would post, but in a very controlled manner.

I do not post more than once in a thread at this time, and I do not take part in "conversations". I post information and try to make my words count.

So, I will probably not be very visible. Or, perhaps, I will be more visible because of the relative rarity of posts.

I hope this time off the forum has helped you grow in holiness.

Welcome back.

"THE LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 26:1)

"And we, too, being called by His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified by ourselves, nor by our own wisdom, or understanding, or godliness, or works which we have wrought in holiness of heart; but by that faith through which, from the beginning, Almighty God has justified all men; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." — Clement, bishop of Rome

"I love truth," says he, "and not sects. I am sometimes a peripatetic, a stoic, or an academician, and often none of them; but—always a Christian. To philosophise is to love wisdom; and the true wisdom is Jesus Christ. Let us read the historians, the poets, and the philosophers; but let us have in our hearts the gospel of Jesus Christ, in which alone is perfect wisdom and perfect happiness." — Petrarch
