I can't imagine breastfeeding being an occasion of sin for any normal man, but there are people with stranger fetishes than that.

If you're a dude who hasn't been around breast-feeding I would imagine it could just be really distracting.  I'm not talkin about inciting lust or anything, just freaking out sheltered dudes like me.

But I'm a 23 year old guy with only two cousins and one younger brother who has a head shaped like an orange.  And I don't ever remember my mom breastfeeding him.  So maybe I'm just weird.

You will get over this fast in a few months.  (as an uncle NOT as a father, for those of you who were wondering...shame on you.)

You might be weirded out initially, but you'll eventually see that its not a big deal.  And maybe that will be good because it will get you used to it so you won't have to leave the room every time your WIFE is breastfeeding your children.

Glad to see people aren't saying that women need to hide themselves away whenever their child is hungry.

I am foreseeing times where it would make sense for me and my possible future child to go off somewhere private as we perfect the art of latching on and off.

On a related note, muffins, I don't like it that many of the menfolk are under the impression that boobies are for them.

Boobies are for babies!

This breast fetishism is getting out of hand.

Just the other day my DH came up to me from behind while I was washing the dishes and started you-know-what. Well, let me tell you I slapped him something silly; he didn't know what hit him. Nearly sent the old horndog to an early grave!!  Squirrel

"THE LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 26:1)

"And we, too, being called by His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified by ourselves, nor by our own wisdom, or understanding, or godliness, or works which we have wrought in holiness of heart; but by that faith through which, from the beginning, Almighty God has justified all men; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." — Clement, bishop of Rome

"I love truth," says he, "and not sects. I am sometimes a peripatetic, a stoic, or an academician, and often none of them; but—always a Christian. To philosophise is to love wisdom; and the true wisdom is Jesus Christ. Let us read the historians, the poets, and the philosophers; but let us have in our hearts the gospel of Jesus Christ, in which alone is perfect wisdom and perfect happiness." — Petrarch

This.

Except that doesn't work. Breastfed babies are notorious for refusing bottles.

And once baby takes to the bottle and finds out how easy it is to get the milk out, you can kiss breastfeeding goodbye! They'll want the bottle instead. Then your milk supply will begin to decrease unless you're really good about pumping. Really good. I mean really really good about pumping. Most women don't like to pump. So, baby gets formula which hasn't the health benefits and costs money.

Baby can have the best food on the planet for free, or baby can have formula--for money.
