Would you believe they don't have it at Best Buy  Huh?

That sucketh mucheth.  I wonder if it's sold out.

I can believe it. PC games are currently a very small share of the game industry in general. I'm actually more surprised your Best Buy had a PC game section at all. Many Best Buys's, Wal-Mart's, and even Gamestop's around here just forget about PC, or have extremely limited selections. Your best bet would be ordering online.

The trend has been for digital delivery (ie, Steam) for PC games now. Probably is their best bet.
Not sure if that Sims off shoot is available, though...

Yeah. I prefer the feeling of opening a new box and having a printed manual, though. I miss the time when PC game boxes were twice the size they are now. I also like going to the occasional midnight release.

:edited to add: There is, indeed, an option for digital download of The Sims Medieval here on the main website: http://www.ea.com/the-sims-medieval/pc-download

Praying for the dead is important. PM me if you need a cantor for the Requiem Mass of a deceased friend or family member. Have cassock and surplice, will travel. (Will also do weddings for a reasonable price.)

How about a Sims set in the Vatican?

Steam is way better than the crap of buying in-store.  For one thing, it cuts your cost a bit by getting rid of the middleman.  And now with the Steam Cloud, and the ability to re-download your games, it's way better.

My friends and I had a discussion today at Texas Roadhouse for like 30 minutes about how Steam has helped the PC gaming industry.

Be careful.

"Cloud" is becoming a way of saying "only licensed...for now".
