"Amen" literally means "so be it," thus the literal french translation "ainsi soit-il."

do portuguese or spanish do that too?

Italians say così sia.

Ay-men when praying in English; Ar-men when praying in Latin. That's what I do anyway.

Don't set up different usernames. One account per person.

If you have MPD,  I'll let it slide.  Otherwise each of you should post under separate accounts.

I think twinkleberry meant that "many persons" say "armen". I think Arminians prounounce it that way,

I don't think that's what twinc meant.

yeah I think we'd notice if there were two posters so equally out of touch, recycling old posts from other forums  ;D

What if this is the dream Rosarium, and what if DK was your 梦魇?

twinkletoes is recycling things he's posted elsewhere - snore! - I want original content!

And I don't like close-mindedness/fundamentalism too much, so he/she/bot hasn't done anything to endear me to themselves, yet.

That would certainly make a lot of sense. However, I do not think I would be so twisted to have my mind produce anything like that.

My dreams, even unpleasant ones, do not normally involve other people. Plus, I lucid dream when I want, so I would not endure such a dream.
