Didn't veil again this week...I really chickened out again. I think I will try to go to a more traditional parish this next weekend so I won't be so scared. Also, I need to get more hats. I think I'd be way more comfortable with those. Here's what I wore to Mass yesterday:

Everything's an exact match for what I wore this time! Also, I wore the tank under the dress with the buttons open. The black dress by itself was too boring for me.

walmart has black scarves for $5-$8.  That's what I wear.  I have my mantillas for special occasions.

I wear my scarf with one tail thrown over a shoulder.  The front tail is good for tucking into blouses or dresses that all of a sudden seem immodest (but it didn't feel/look that way at home!)

I like that dress a lot, Alice! (In fact, I liked it on Polyvore.) Very nice!

That is a great idea! I will have to check them out at Walmart next time I am there.

Thank you! Sts Anne and Joachim are the patron saints of our marriage. We just got our marriage convalidated on 3/16, so it has been fresh in my mind!

I wanted to post the Polyvore set I put together for my Easter outfit. Let me know what you think. I have NO IDEA what to wear for a scarf/hat//whatever. I would ideally like a straw cloche but I can't find one at a price I like. Anyway, here is my outfit:

Everything's an exact match. Also I could use input on accessories.

The outfit's gorgeous! I'd say a pair of simple pearl earrings, or some cute spring-flowery dangles could work really well with that. A white lace veil could work, or a white hat.

Very nice.  White cloche type hat would be nice.

This is what I would LIKE to wear on Easter.  I'm still looking, so don't know if I'll find a dress that is close.

Thanks for the advice on the Easter outfit everyone! I am so excited to wear it! I am thinking about getting a white hat and I'm still really undecided on accessories. I do have a pearl and crucifix necklace that I made, so I'll likely be wearing that, but I'm still undecided on earrings/ possible bracelet, etc.

Joamy: Have you looked at Forever21? They have a large selection for not too much money.

This is what I wore to Mass this week: http://www.polyvore.com/mass_outfit_16_11/set?id=30491621

The only thing that's not an exact match is the necklace. A little more casual than I'd normally wear, but I actually went to the church to go to Confession, and the line was so long that the Palm Sunday vigil Mass started as I was standing in line. This is the first church I've ever been to in my life where they had Confession during Mass, it was really neat. So I assisted at Mass while waiting and decided to just stay. After a 1.5 hr wait for Confession I got out just in time to receive Communion, so that was cool. :-)
