I just found out that BrevMeum now has an HD version for iPad.....for $0.99.  Latin/English, and you can download the whole week in advance in case you will be out of a wifi zone.

I love real books, but I love $349, too.  Something to think about.  And it has a built-in ordo.

This app is amazing and so are the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate who brought it to you.

I don't have an iPad, so I have to ask what makes more sense?  Spend on the iPad but get not just the breviarium app bit everything else an iPad offers, or spend the $349 and get nice real books for the breviary but no iPad. . .

I agree that books are superior but what's the situation here? Tie up $349 for a Breviary that, given Baronius' track record on it, may NEVER actually be published or buy an iPad that will get you the Breviary and many other resources? If I could bring myself to use any product with 'i' in its name it would be a nobrainer.

Given the situation, I'll just keep my eye on eBay. I'm sure there'll be thousands of Breviaries available at reasonable prices before Baronius actually gets around to publishing theirs, if they ever do.

Here's a Roman Breviary, only £200 and already printed.

I've rarely gotten so worked up to give a company my money, and be frustrated about the existence of the product.  Still no news?

Last official update from Baronius was in November, and since then many murmurs - there was supposed to be an announcement last week (or was it the week before?) but nothing came of that rumor.

All indications point to this year being THE year, but given Baronius's track record . . .

It's Latin-only.  The Baronius breviary is attractive to many because it is Latin-English.

Their communication is poor, but I think everything is going wrong because the devil does not want this to happen.  Pray.
