Maple syrup is one of my favorite things. I like to drizzle it on pancakes, bacon, ice cream, [Oxford comma!] and sometimes just drink it straight from the bottle.

What do you like to do with maple syrup?

Anything, really, but it adds a nice touch to coq au vin.

It's one of the few foods that tastes good with any dish, sweet or savory. I envy Canadians their access to plentiful cheap maple syrup, whereas we in the States are expected to content ourselves with corn syrup with a little maple flavoring.

I also fancy maple bars (when I can find them), and those leaf-shaped maple sugar candies.

That is true, I think. Off the top of my head I cannot think of anything that clashes with sinsibuckwud.

Yes, the real stuff is expensive in the States, but well worth the cost.

I have never had a maple bar. I will have to try it.

Maple bacon is awesome.  Otherwise, I pretty much just use it on waffles and pancakes.  Yeah, I'm boring with maple syrup.  Sigh.

One of my favorite desserts is a quebecois dish called grand-pere. It's basically a pastry that is cooked in boiling maple syrup.

Tarte au sirop d'erable is good too.

Cook a filet of salmon (preferably Pacific, and not farmed aka real salmon) smothered in maple syrup...greatest thing out there

I ground my faith upon Jesus Christ, and by Him I steadfastly believe to be saved, as is taught in the Catholic Church through all Christendom, and promised to remain with Her unto the world's end, and hell gates shall not prevail against it: and by God's assistance I mean to live and die in the same faith; for if an angel come from heaven, and preach any other doctrine than we have received, the Apostle biddeth us not to believe him. Therefore, if I should follow your doctrine, I should disobey the Apostle's commandment.

Put a splash in the meatloaf.  And a little Jim Beam.

That is, put Jim Beam in the meatloaf.  Not syrup in the Jim Beam.

Though now that I think of it...

I do this too except I mix the maple syrup with paprika an bake it with orange slices on top.

Even fish.

Though I don't like fish.
