That's what we did too, basically. Also had bridesmaids who'd never been to TLM (except my dear friend who came to a couple to prepare herself, God love her - the only practising Catholic of the three).


full effect - tulle matching the dress with a white flower, some feathers and some little pearl things.


had kind of a barely-there look from the front. Nice and discreet so they wouldn't feel uncomfortable with me forcing mantillas on them.

Ha, sorry.  I'm kidding!  I'm not trying to be a brat.  I tried to google a good picture for you but they're all so different, it would be easier just to look it up.

It's feathers, fabric, or flowers attached to a pad that is then attached to either a head band or a clip or comb and worn in the hair.  They can either be a hair adornment/accessory or a full on head covering/mini-hat.  Kate Middleton is often seen wearing one for churchy stuff.
