Is there an old Catholic book that teaches you just how to learn enough Latin to follow the mass in Latin ,or does that just come over the years by following it. Its hard to not just follow the English only.
Banned for snarking meanness, disrespect toward the Holy Father, twisting what others say in order to mock them, etc.

Back in the '40s and '50s the nuns of the Catholic school would coach the altar servers, usually the best in the class (and all male ;D ), to memorize the responses. Usually for anyone in high school and college I would suggest taking the Classics and Latin from school. What I do is just put my hand over the English part of the missal. LOL
