Anyone know the basis for the idea that there are 9 ways of participating in another person's sin please?

Is there a cogent single source (i.e. Bible) or is it drawn from teachings in the Bible and from the Saints?

I do not know if the list is compiled from scripture, but scripture contains examples of them all.
