One of them is to attend a N.O.

You are purposely trying to derail the thread. I'm tired to coming to threads that have absolutely nothing to do with the N.O., only to find it's the main topic of discussion...again.

Another is being a schismatic pal.  We might not like the NO, but it's not a sin to attend the Holy Sacrifice in that form - all things being equal.

Thanks to everyone else for replies.

Anyone know the basis for the idea that there are 9 ways of participating in another person's sin please?

Another way is continuing this thread. Move on people.

I stopped going when one day, in the middle of the service,  down the aisle came five gigantic puppets in the form and shape of zombies.

But that is not part of the Novus Ordo.

I only know that I've got a lot of experience in the "silence" part. I needed to stop being silent and inform certain members of my family that they shouldn't be going to Holy Communion if they missed Mass; that they needed to go to confession first. My confessor told me that I need only explain it to them once or twice, and then let it go and not harp on it. Once they know the truth, you have done your duty. Then the ball is in their court.

One way you sin is by keeping your fellow catholics shut up inside a dark room.
