No tangled web here (perhaps only the cobwebs that seem to continually cloud your thinking). It is quite legitimate to assume that Father Leonard had no problem with the SVs since he himself was blessed as the abbot of the monastery by Bishop McKenna and had sent his monks to him (McKenna) for ordination.
That is true, however, he also gave legal control of the monastery to the only two monks he knew not to be sedevacantists. So, trying to infer what Father Leonard wanted to happen by what he did in the past does not seem to work.

I suspect that Frs. Glentz and Sauntner  ended up with it not because they were non-sedes, but simply because they were the oldest and had been put in control at some point.

I say this because I've known of a number of situations where older trad priests never really thought out what would become of their work after their death, and never took positive steps to make clear legal arrangements for what they actually wanted. This has resulted in a lot of legal messes over the years, and much unnecessary division.

Do you know this? It seems to me that most corporations have a t least 3 trustees. They can also be taken over and manipulated when one member becomes incapacitated. Of course, this is a matter for the courts and we should never discuss it.
That is what Fr. Cekada has written in his article (Since Fr. Giardina had put Frs. Glentz and Sauntner in control of the civil corporation that owned the monastery property,), so I assumed it to be public knowledge.

Fr. Cekada has been known to speculate and pretend he really knows.

So now, will the Bishop of Birmingham offer half  the monastery assets to the expelled sede monks for their support?

How much did you and Bishop Daniel Dolan offer to the people in Columbus when you sold their church out from under them and stole their building fund?

Is there some "delicacy" in this question causing you to avoid answering?

As I remember hearing in a sermon over the Internet the money was left to to St. Gertrude the Great by a benefactor (Jack Grimes?) and St. Gertrude in turn bought the Columbus church. So what's your question? You are a big blow hard!

Can you provide the source for this? Is the sermon still available online?

Also, do you know why Fr. Cekada's bottom signature is in German? I thought maybe there's an internet sermon explaining that too.

Gibt es irgendeinen Grund, dass man eben keine deutsche Signatur haben soll?

That doesn't answer the question.  Smile

This is now a question of fact. The money Jack Grimes left was NOT used to purchase the Columbus church property. The Columbus church was fully mortgaged in 1995 at 255K (and an additional 17K loan from the Lutherans who it was purchased from) and paid for by the people in Columbus. Jack Grimes' 1993 money went to SGG in full.

Why can't Fr. Cekada clear up this question of fact for us? Is he the source of this "internet sermon?"

This is getting ridiculous. This is not the place for internet tribunals, OK?  Nothing good ever comes of them.  Trust me on that.
