Is it a sin for a married man with ED to use viagra? Always wondered this.

In short, no.  If the end goal is to facilitate licit marital relations.

ED is usually caused by poor blood circulation.  It can be a symptom of a very serious disorder. Viagra was originally as a heart treatment, but they noticed that one of the side effects was particularly pleasing to men.

You are not married or even close to it. Why are you dwelling on this?

If you are not married or getting married, it might be good to try and practice custody of your thoughts and put these questions aside and leave them unanswered until they have a practical application in your life.

Eh, natural curiosity.  And probably the fact that the ads are EVERYWHERE -- including in the doctors' office.

I don't know and I don't have the need to know (I'm not married).

You ask the most interesting questions, I must say.

This is very true. Sometimes Viagra unintentionally covers up symptoms of cancer.

Personally, I prefer Cialis.

On the sole basis of them having funnier commercials. Just sayin'.  Fish-Eater Smackdown

I ground my faith upon Jesus Christ, and by Him I steadfastly believe to be saved, as is taught in the Catholic Church through all Christendom, and promised to remain with Her unto the world's end, and hell gates shall not prevail against it: and by God's assistance I mean to live and die in the same faith; for if an angel come from heaven, and preach any other doctrine than we have received, the Apostle biddeth us not to believe him. Therefore, if I should follow your doctrine, I should disobey the Apostle's commandment.

And THEN they noticed that it could treat pulmonary hypertension, brought it down to 20mg from 25mg, changed the colour to brown, and charge about $50,000 for a year's worth of the stuff.  Pharmaceutical companies <3

I can't see how it could be bad at all, though, I would say that when things stop working it might be good incentive to give marital celibacy a try.  If you can't do it, however, there's certainly no penalty for continuing on, even if you need some medical help.
