A couple of updates:


Regarding my uncle: one doctor says he has cancer; another says he doesn't. Hopefully he doesn't, but pray that gets straightened out.


I found someone to take over the lease almost a month ago, and my old landlady is dragging her feet on returning the deposit and a rent prepayment. I've notified her that if I don't receive it within the next week, I'm taking it to small claims court. I haven't heard anything back yet.
