I noticed all those, except around Kansas City are very liberal and anti-gun.  California, for example, has a law that doesn't allow detachable magazines on semi-automatic rifles, and even then, there's like a ten round limit.

Having never fired a weapon in my life, I don't see your point.  LOL

May I throw St. Louis, Missouri into the mix as well?

The Institute of Christ the King has one of the biggest old-mass-only churches in the world (both with regard to the size of the church and the congregation), and a great community.   http://www.institute-christ-king.org/stlouis/

A Benedictine Oratory also has daily mass. http://archstl.org/parish/saint-gregory-great-and-saint-augus

The SSPX also has a church and a school here.  http://qhra.org/

Further, there a numerous other parishes that offer the old Mass both daily and on occasion (Little Flower - weekly, Shrine of St. Joseph - weekly, Holy Family Log Church, http://www.institute-christ-king.org/cahokia/(first established in 1699 by French missionaries) - weekly)

Also, Missouri has very liberal gun laws including concealed carry, but, no offense to Kansas City, St. Louis has a much more interesting and Catholic history and culture (though it's not very important nationally anymore).

We should live in the presence of God.
