And finally got the banking thing figured out.  It was that they weren't used to be spending large amounts of money in one go from my card.


I know it can be frustrating, but it's for your own protection. A credit card thief tries to buy as many big $$$ items as possible (that can be pawned or sold on the street) before the company gets notified, so they have a 'suspicious buying pattern' lock. I ran up against it when I bought my computer!

Yeah, I know.  I'm just annoyed because my last debit card was blocked just a little over a week ago.   Sticking tongue out at you
