In spite of US law, I would drink more often, but my family has an almost Puritan aversion to drinking (though not other, more serious things.)

Recently had a Corona and a couple of shots of cheap tequila. Nasty.

A homemade gingerbread latte.

I keep looking for ways to make stuff at home so I break my expensive coffee habit.

Recipe as follows:

1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ginger
3/4 tsp cinnamon

Mix together in large jar.

Brew i cup very strong coffee.
Heat i cup of milk in saucepan on stove - whisking to make it frothy.

Add 1 large spoon of gingerbread syrup to coffee and a little white sugar if not sweet enough for you.  Stir well.  Add frothy milk and top with a little whipped cream.  May sprinkle with ground cloves for decoration.

YUM!

PS - Makes about 7 to 8 cups of coffee.  Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.  Mine never lasts that long.  Smile

Some sort of pilsner or pale ale.  Don't recall.  It's gone.  Oh, and Fosters.

When you go up to receive communion, you're literally at the foot of the cross.  Standing at all creation's center, the saints gather around.  Martyrs, heroes staring into your very being.  They lived AND died for Christ... can we say the same of ourselves?  What are WE doing to further God's will in this life?  Skipping Mass for our careers?  Our education?  Voting for heads of state, that don't recognize the source of all authority and power?  They won't matter on your deathbed (or whatever end we meet).

So... why waste time with this modern world's nonsense?  We have our own civilization: CHRISTENDOM.  We must restore it whilst the modern world commits societal suicide.

Its naive and idealistic to believe government for man by man can succeed.  Restore Christendom in our hearts and homes!  Communities aren't that far off, its a numbers game.
