1809 Berliner Weisse. A beer fit for...Napoleon.
I'm not generally a fan of weissbiers, but this is good. My brother sent it to me for my bday a few weeks back. Yay for beerbirthdays.

It is 7 PM Pacific Daylight Time; I just got home to Pullman, WA 20 minutes ago after the 120 mile road trip from mom's farm, where I've been the past 3 days; not a lot of "windshield time" in some people's estimation, but I hate driving ... so yeah ... I'm having vodka on the rocks (too lazy at the moment to make an actual martini). I should have refrained until after I unloaded the rig AND went to the university's rec center, but no, I hate driving so much I couldn't refrain. I have good intentions of making reperation at my work out tomorrow after work, but it remains to be seen if virtue will trump vice then. On a positive note, I got lots of exercise at the farm, and had both a Red Bull AND a triple shot icecd mocha to keep me going on the drive home.

When you go up to receive communion, you're literally at the foot of the cross. Standing at all creation's center, the saints gather around. Martyrs, heroes staring into your very being. They lived AND died for Christ... can we say the same of ourselves? What are WE doing to further God's will in this life? Skipping Mass for our careers? Our education? Voting for heads of state, that don't recognize the source of all authority and power? They won't matter on your deathbed (or whatever end we meet).
So... why waste time with this modern world's nonsense? We have our own civilization: CHRISTENDOM. We must restore it whilst the modern world commits societal suicide.
Its naive and idealistic to believe government for man by man can succeed. Restore Christendom in our hearts and homes! Communities aren't that far off, its a numbers game.
"Accursed is the man that puts his trust in man" Book of Jeremiah Chapter XVII, verse 5.

My very own moonshine, although I have it cut down with creaming soda as this current batch I didn't have a spirit hydrometer so it was bottled at the strength it came out of the still... this bottle here later checked out at just under 70% ABV so it's not actually that strong....

It is my solemn and firmly held belief that the Cristeros were an entirely unjustified group of egomaniacal sociopaths and that Mexico would be a far better place today had they simply purchased Xbox360 consoles and lived out their ridiculous fantasies via an imaginary fantasy gaming realm Forget your lust for the rich man's gold/ All that you need, is in your soul/ And you can do this, oh baby, if you try/ All that I want for you my son/ Is to be satisfied All that we are is a picture in a mirror, with fancy shoes to grace our feet. All that there is, is a slow road to freedom; Heaven above and the devil beneath. We're all in this thing together, walking a line between faith and fear, this life won't last forever - when you cry I taste the salt in your tears.

Ya, 70% is not strong at all... wth? Is there something about moonshine that I don't know? Right now some Frangelico liqueur. Tasty, but only 20% abv...positively sissy-la-la...
