It wasn't a delusion. Jesus was really speaking intimately with this soul

Pheo, I read that on wikipedia

You can read it too, regarding that

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Faustina_Kowalska#Acceptance_and_sainthood

It happened when the cause of canonization was opened again by St. Pope John Paul II in 1965

“    Indeed the message [St. Faustina] brought is the appropriate and incisive answer that God wanted to offer to the questions and expectations of human beings in our time, marked by terrible tragedies.    ”

Pope John XXIII put it on the list because the writing was confused, S. Faustina was barely literate, and her writings were causing scandal. Pope John Paul II edited the book with out ever having known her in this life.

No, that's the part that I was pointing out.  JPII hasn't been canonized.

It is said because of the misleading italian translation of the Diary.

It isn't a blasphemy, jovan.

From wikipedia
In April 1978, the Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith declared that the Notification ban was no longer binding, and stated that misunderstandings were created by a faulty Italian translation of Kowalska's Diary.

I ground my faith upon Jesus Christ, and by Him I steadfastly believe to be saved, as is taught in the Catholic Church through all Christendom, and promised to remain with Her unto the world's end, and hell gates shall not prevail against it: and by God's assistance I mean to live and die in the same faith; for if an angel come from heaven, and preach any other doctrine than we have received, the Apostle biddeth us not to believe him. Therefore, if I should follow your doctrine, I should disobey the Apostle's commandment.

I'm talking about the blasphemy of placing a Consecrated Host in unconsecrated, unanointed hands.

Oh, I don't know, I think Pope John Paul II was beatified on May 2011.

You can watch the beatification here

True he was beatified, a non-infallible action. Canonisation however, is an infallible act and the Holy Ghost, in His wisdom, will never allow that to happen, since I can think of nothing worse for Holy Church that to have John Paul II held up as a role model!

Yep, he was beatified, but not canonized.  You can use the title 'Blessed' for him, but 'Saint' is the next step.  Well...as a general rule.
